Pakistan will play all their ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025 matches in Sri Lankan capital of Colombo when India hosts this year's tournament, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed on Monday.
India were the lone host of the eight-team event which will now be played across Bengaluru, Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam and the Lankan capital. Colombo came into the picture as a "neutral venue" considering Pakistan's stand not to travel to India for the ICC event, following the hybrid model accepted earlier this year for the Champions Trophy. India played all their matches in Dubai when Pakistan hosted the men's Champions Trophy this year, including the final.

It was announced in December that politically estranged India and Pakistan, who have not played a bilateral series since 2013, will play their matches in neutral venues when either country hosts an ICC event. The Women's ODI World Cup 2025 will take place from September 30 to November 2.
Bengaluru, where the tournament will start with India playing in the opening match, will host the final on November 2 if Pakistan are knocked out earlier in the tournament.
Apart from hosts India, defending champions Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, England, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and South Africa will take part in the event. Pakistan and Bangladesh were the latest entrants to the World Cup, having punched their tickets after finishing in the top two of the six-team qualifier tournament in April.
