The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a clarification regarding 'fake notices' that have been doing rounds on social media.

" A letter dated 2nd May 2025 is being circulated on social media. This letter is FAKE. It has not been issued by CBSE. No official announcement has been made regarding the declaration of Class X/XII 2025 results," mentioned a social media post by the board.

Urging students, parents and stakeholders to be vigilant about such fake notices, the board requested to avoid sharing unverified news and rely only on official sources. For authentic updates, the board encouraged students to visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.

Meanwhile, officials released the access code for Digilocker accounts of Class X and XII students to access their Digital Academic Documents (Mark sheet cum Certificates & Migration Certificates) pertaining to board exam results 2025.

"In order to further strengthen the security & privacy of students' data, CBSE introduced six-digit Access Code based activation for students' Digilocker accounts. After activation of Digilocker accounts, students can access their Digital Academic Documents under the 'Issued Documents' section," informed the press release.

CBSE in the official press release also mentioned that the result of the board exam 2025 is under preparation and is expected to be declared soon. This year, 24.12 lakh CBSE Class 10 students appeared for exams in 84 subjects and 17.88 lakh CBSE Class 12 students appeared for exams across 120 subjects.
